What the Digital Security Academy teaches

A free interactive course based on the book: six short modules with assessments, an integrative final exam and a certificate of completion. It uses retrieval practice and immediate feedback: every answer, right or wrong, comes with its explanation.

The six modules:

• Deception: phishing, smishing and quishing — spotting a trap message before you click.
• Passwords, managers, MFA and passkeys: from the reused password to access that cannot be stolen.
• Your phone as a safe: screen lock, encryption, SIM PIN and remote tracking.
• The digital home: router, IoT devices, backups and identity theft.
• Family: keeping minors safe — grooming, cyberbullying, sexting and accompaniment.
• Response plan: what to do in the first 24 hours if you get hacked.
